Sitting at the intersection of companies like Buzzfeed and Vice, Cut aspires to create the kind of work that is both viral and smart, highly produced and scalable, mainstream and cool. Cut is growing its team and we are looking for a Director of Product Operations to join us.

 

As Director of Product Operations, you will report to the VP of Product and work closely with members of the product development, marketing, and senior management team to define and support our product objectives. You'll work closely with the Director of Product of Development to manage the lifecycle of our products from validated prototype to end user satisfaction.

 

This role is responsible for managing all e-commerce and retail platforms to optimize the product experience for our customers and drive maximum ROI for our business. As you already know, E-commerce is dynamic and you'll be expected to track, communicate, and act on relevant changes in the ecosystem. The right person for this role is intellectually curious, as demonstrated through their ability to identify problems, research and create solutions in a collaborative manner.

 

 

Day To Day You Will

 

 

    • Optimize e-commerce platforms to hit D2C sales targets
  •  
    • Analyze sales and traffic data and use it to inform website updates and marketing strategies
  •  
    • Work with platforms to improve efficiency of our supply chain operations
  •  
    • Work with Cut's Supply Chain Manager to reliably supply product to our customers
  •  
    • Track and consistently improve customer satisfaction throughout the entire customer journey
  •  
    • Identify development opportunities in new markets or new sales channels, including launching retail sales operations
  •  
    • Work with Product Development, Supply Chain and Marketing to successfully launch new products
  •  
    • Develop and manage a team to support our fast growing D2C business

 

 

Qualifications

 

    • 5+ years of E-commerce management experience including Shopifyplus, Amazon FBA, Amazon Launchpad; Additional platform knowledge is a plus
  •  
    • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management
  •  
    • Experience in managing supply chain and customer service
  •  
    • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  •  
    • Strong ability to identify opportunities and transform them into results
  •  
    • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, numerical abilities, and a problem-solving attitude
  •  
    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  •  
    • High service orientation, hands-on mentality, and attention to detail
  •  
    • Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  •  
    • Significant and proven experience implementing agile planning processes and working with project management software
