 SENIOR MOBILE APPLICAITON ENGINEER

 

 

We are looking for the next member of the WEconnect team to build and improve our stellar mobile experiences that support recovery from addiction!

This individual must be highly creative and high-energy addition, and will be responsible for building moderate to complex products that will directly impact our consumer’s experience. This role will create solutions by developing and implementing applications across our WEconnect platforms.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

- Improve the flagship WEconnect mobile applications built with React Native and TypeScript.

- Native integration with Android using Kotlin/Java and with iOS using Swift/Objective-C.

-Research and prototype new product experiences on smartphones, tablets, wearables, voice UI, TV, AR, VR, and more.

As a Software Development Manager at Valant, you will be
responsible for leading 2-3 software engineering teams across US, Spain and
Russia executing on an aggressive and challenging feature roadmap. We

What You’ll Do

  • Work as part of test team and perform
    requirements and behavior based application
  • Lead
    multiple software development teams build a next generation cloud based EHR
    platform for behavioral and mental health
  • Execute against
    project plans and delivery commitments in an Agile environment.
  • Provides clarity and direction — Translate
    broader business initiatives into clear team objectives and concrete individual
    goals; set expectations/standards and ensure they are followed.
  • Collaborate with
    Product Managers/Architects to break down high level roadmap requirements to
    iterative goals that squads can execute on.
  • Work across squads, departmental and
    organizational boundaries to help identify, solve adaptive challenges that
    impact roadmap.

What You’ll Need

  • Basic
    understanding of software testing concepts
  • Basic experience
    with using, testing or developing web applications
  • Basic coding
    experience with programming or scripting language, such as C#, JavaScript,
    Python or similar.
  • Ability to
    multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Be curious,
    detail oriented, and analytical, with a proven ability to learn quickly
  • Be user-focused,
    team-oriented, and motivated, taking ownership of assigned tasks
  • Good verbal and
    written communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in
    Health Care software/ industry is a plus
  • Experience in BDD
    is a plus
What We Offer

  • Minimum 9-12
    years of progressively responsible and related software development experience
    with a minimum of 3-4 years in a management role.
  • Prior success as
    a software engineer, subject matter expert, strategic influencer on the
    direction of the product design and development
  • Agile experience
    with a ‘people over process’ mentality

    decision maker and driver with the ability to articulate product vision and
    roadmap.
  • Exceptional
    leadership and team-building skills with a passion for mentoring/coaching.
  • Ability to

    under pressure.
  • Experience with
    Test automation, Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
